Importance of the primary Education | Group Discussion Topic

The Importance of primary education, this topic had given to us at Triveni Turbines Campus Interview. So we will discuss this topic in this post

Point to mention during Discussion
1. First introduce importance of education
Educating children no matter where they are is one of the biggest steps we can take toward ending extreme poverty. Education is key to building a society that can overcome poverty in a sustainable manner. Investing in human capital brings about powerful social change and creates opportunities for those of us in developing countries to realise their full potential and to become leaders of the generation to come. In many developing countries, education is unaffordable for families and there is a shortage of classrooms. The poorest countries need almost 4 million new classrooms by 2015, largely in rural and marginalized areas, to accommodate those who are not in school. More classrooms will alleviate overcrowding, cut class sizes and reduce the long travel distances. Children in rural areas sometimes walk two to three hours to attend school.

2) Explain Formal goals of Primary Education
During their primary education, students are taught to think critically, to strive to attain high standards, to meet the challenges posed by technological advancements and to develop citizenship and basic values. In
order to achieve these goals, schools must provide orderly and safe environments, where supervised learning can take place.

3. Goals and Objectives in Primary Education:
1. To ensure that education becomes a means of genuine empowerment of the individual to achieve his/her full potential.
2. To ensure that the learning process is made locally relevant, child-centered, activity-based and joyful.
3.To ensure that educational management is decentralized to the community and that the the community takes ownership to ensure children’s right to education.

Conclusion
The importance of school education lies in the fact that the children of today will become adult citizens of tomorrow. The growth and future of our country highly depends upon the quality of the present school education system.
